The Green Dome Academy (TheGDA) is a non-profit educational organisation that seeks to serve Oldham’s rapidly growing Muslim population. The charity focuses primarily on the general wellbeing of Muslim women in the borough. It seeks to provide services that will cater for their educational, cultural, religious, spiritual and socio-economic needs.
TheGDA seeks to become a resource for women by:
- Supporting young women through their teenage years and helping them make the right choices
- Supporting young mothers by providing a New Mothers support service
- Delivering Educational Projects for young women
- Providing Recreational opportunities for women of all ages
